Dredge: The Pale Reach is a DLC that expands the world of Dredge with a new icy Southern region to explore. It delivers a new biome - complete with its own distinct atmosphere and challenges and 11 new fish and crab species.
You can also upgrade your boat with an ice break add-on to make navigating through icebergs a breeze and add ice blocks to your hold to extend the shelf life of your catches. Unfortunately, it doesn't add much to the core gameplay or improve on what, frankly, is a rather clunky interface.
If you're a fan of Dredge, The Pale Reach is a solid addition that provides more of what you love and a few more Trophies/Achievements for the reasonable price of £5.79 on the PlayStation Store or £5.99 on Xbox. However, if you're looking for a significant expansion that revamps the core mechanics, you might be disappointed..
